The Jefferson Automatic Welding & Grinding Helmet – Type 6 is a slim, lightweight and well-balanced auto-darkening welding helmet designed to provide reliable eye and face protection during welding and grinding applications.
Featuring automatic light adjustment, the helmet switches from light to dark in just 1/25,000th of a second, helping protect the user’s eyes from sudden welding arc flashes. The variable DIN 9–13 shade range allows the helmet to be adjusted to suit different welding processes and working conditions.
The Type 6 helmet incorporates two independent ARC sensors for dependable arc detection and is suitable for MMA, MIG, TIG, PAC, PAW and CAC-A welding processes. It also features adjustable sensitivity and delay controls, allowing the user to tailor the helmet to the job.
A fully adjustable headgear system provides a comfortable and secure fit, while the lightweight 490g construction helps reduce fatigue during extended periods of use.
